Why you will stand out

I used to think being an artist or a dancer or anything creative was going to be super hard. I thought it would be a big pool of "everyone is better than me" and no one would really see my art is special. WHAT CRAP! Even if someone is better than me i'm very different and there is someone out there that will resonate with me personally. What is better anyway? Maybe they know more about the craft.. maybe they have mastered a technique.. but there is no right or wrong. If you do something long enough you will see many others will fall off. If you really love painting or drawing or dancing it will be something you would do for free. When you do things without expecting anything you are always pleased. Moving towards what feels good and what lights you up opens your heart and soul in a beautiful way.

I learned a few awesome techniques from my creative coaches and influencers online. The cool part was even if I do exactly what im taught it looks different. We all have a unique gift and touch that everyone needs to see. Don't hide what your passions are because someone out there really needs your magic. Start today and know how special you really are.

I also learned that the more I practice my craft the more my personality comes out. We sometimes think everything will be overnight and we crave results and recognition. I started out copying what I learned and over time I was able to see a trend in my pieces and really understand where my heart is. Its been years and I feel like just now I'm seeing Samantha in my work. You know why I never got frustrated or felt like I wasnt moving forward?? I was just having fun. I was painting to relax and to let out my creativity. I wasnt trying to make money fast or quit my job right away (this was me years ago and i never moved forward, even though I needed those failures to actually move forward). You basically just need to get in flow of your souls purpose and what brings you joy.

Ask yourself what lights me up? What feels like play? Do that over and over and you will get all the answers you need. I used to go walking on this beautiful trail full of trees and plants and I got some of my best ideas and inspriation from that. It literally starts with practicing things that take care of your body and soul and all the blessings will follow.

We all came here with a special kind of magic and until we all shine our light I don't think this planet will florish. Stand up for the things you love and let your soul guide you to the place you were meant to be, for you, and for us all. <3
